Sigma Psi Zeta National enforces a strict non-hazing policy.

Our organization's national philanthropy is "to combat violence against women." With this in mind, we are against the disrespect of women in all its myriad forms.

The purpose of pledging is to help stimulate a bond between the members of a pledge class and the sisters that have already been initiated. It is a challenge and a commitment during which trust is placed in both the pledges and the sisters. Subsequently, we do not mentally, physically or emotionally degrade our pledges. To do so would work against the ties of loyalty, allegience and dedication that we aim to create.

Sigma Psi Zeta does not discriminate.

Sigma Psi Zeta Sorority, Inc. does not discriminate based on race, creed, religion or sexual orientation. Women who are interested in our sorority need not be strictly of Asian descent. Although we are culturally oriented, we are by no means exclusive to Asian/Asian Americans. Our sisters come from all cultures and backgrounds. We celebrate the diversity of our members and applicants.

Sigma Psi Zeta's Commitment to Education.

We realize the importance of balancing active involvement in the community with high academic standards.

All members of our interest groups must maintain a MINIMUM cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.7 (based upon a 4.0 scale or its equivalent) prior to and during the chartering process.

All members including undergraduate, graduate and prospective members must maintain the greater of our MINIMUM cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.5 or the University standard.
