Wincheng Lin Bone Marrow Drive

The Wincheng Lin Bone Marrow drive is something that is near and dear to our hearts. The Iota charter is teaming with several other greek organizations on campus to hold the annual Wincheng Lin Bone Marrow Drive to raise awareness on the need of bone marrow donors. Stop by Wilson Commons and find out more information on how you can help save someone's life.
Domestic Violence Awareness Week
October 20-24, 2008
Along with Omega Phi Beta and Women's Caucus, the Iota Charter
is raising awareness on domestic violence with a week of tabling, as well as other events to inform people about domestic violence and how it affects lives. Please stop by our table in Hirst Lounge for more information and find out how you can help!
On April 23, 2007, the Iota Charter was recognized for Outstanding Program for the Wincheng Lin Bone Marrow Drive by the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Affairs:
"Sigma Psi Zeta is recognized for its exemplary contribution to the Expectations for Excellence through the hosting of the Wincheng Lin Bone Marrow Drive to raise awareness about leukemia and recruit new donors. The sisters of Sigma Psi Zeta demonstrated compassion for their fellow sisters and created an inclusive environment that encouraged and welcomed the participation and collaboration of several student groups."
Congratulations to all the ladies of the Iota Charter, who put in dedication and hard work to make the bone marrow drive a success!

RUSH Sigma Psi Zeta
Hi everyone! Come and kick off the start of our Fall RUSH with our annual bubble tea event! It is open to everyone, so grab your friends; come and enjoy a cup of yummy bubble tea! There will also be lots snacks, good music and pleasant company! It's going to be a fun-filled evening :)

Congratulations Iota Charter!
Congratulations the sisters at Iota Charter for our latest achievement! Last night was our Office for Fraternity and Sorority Affairs' Annual Recognition Reception and the Iota Charter was awarded one of the highest honors, the Expectations for Excellence Strategic Planning Award.
This award is given to 3 organizations in which each has excelled in the five categories of our University's accreditation process. The following areas which the EE covers are: scholarship, community building and leadership, programming, non-academic student conduct, and organizational management. We are really excited of the most recent accomplishment. We will be adding pictures and the details of the letter on our website shortly. :)

RUSH Sigma Psi Zeta!
It's time for another great year! We have many great events coming up for Fall RUSH such as a Potluck dinner with sisters and a BBQ mixer with sisters from Geneseo and brothers from UR/RIT Pi Delta Psi. Come out and meet the sisters and enjoy some delicious food!
We would like to thank those who came out on Friday night to RENDEZVOUS at Club Pearl. It was a great success and we hope that everyone had an enjoyable time dancing and socializing. Also, thanks to all those who took a break for the festivities of Yellowjacket Weekend to come to our annual Bubble Tea event! We hope you enjoyed the free bubble tea, snacks and company!

RUSH Sigma Psi Zeta!
Spring 2007 RUSH has begun! We hope everyone enjoyed the free bubble tea provided yesterday, January 21st, in Tiernan Lounge. Our next official rush event will take place tomorrow, January 23rd, in G113 (across the hall from the Writing Center in the tunnels leading from ITS). We will be holding a General Interest Meeting where the interested young women of our campus can come see what we're all about and a chance to ask us any questions.
Our upcoming events also include:

A new "Archives" section has been added to the photo section. The archives include pictures from past years that aren't already part of the albums we have up. Mostly pictures of our alumni as undergraduates. Since some of these pictures were taken before the days of digital cameras, some pictures are small and/or grainy. >;)

After 3 years of the same, stale website on Yahoo! Geocities, we have finally moved to the university's SA server! Bigger, cleaner, and free of pop-ups, please enjoy our new home. Please drink responsibly. ;)
