Iota Sisters have always been active with regard to our National Philanthropy. They have co-hosted the purple ribbon project with Omega Phi Beta Sorority for several years. They have also raised money for their charity, hosted self defense workshops and taken part in the Walk for Light.

Since their establishment, the sisters at the University of Virginia have held a rape and misconception workshop, volunteered to clean the women's shelter, volunteered at a 5K marathon for domestic violence awareness, and took part in the purple ribbon project.

Local Charity: Chances and Changes [Geneseo, NY]
In Geneseo, sisters have worked hard to support the National Philanthropy. They have collected clothing for Chances and Changes at their first party, Clothesline & Gravestone Project with the Womyn’s Action Coalition (WAC) to promote awareness of domestic violence, sold domestic violence t-shirts as a fundraiser for the NYAWC, participated in Take Back the Night, and joined the rest of Sigma Psi Zeta National in the Purple Ribbon Project.

The Sisters of the Xi Charter have teamed up annually with UNL's Women's Center to help organize Women's Week events, coordinate, and participate in the Center's workshop and activities, and most importantly - to make a difference on their campus.
Friendship Home to raise awaraness of domestic abuse on women and children and annually participate in the SafeQuarters Drive

Local Charity: Asian Americans for Community Involvement [San Jose, CA]
The Sisters of the Omicron Charter have teamed up with Asian Americans for Community Involvement of Santa Clara County, API Domestic Violence Program & Asian Women's. In addition to addressing these culturally-based issues, they also inform and educate undergraduates at Stanford University through events that will provide information and facilitate discussions about domestic violence, date rape and sexual assault.
